Torpedo shaped with no swim bladder, Mackerel are the fastest fish that swim in our waters capable of travelling five metres in one second. Related to the tuna it is almost tropical in appearance with shimmering irridescent flanks of pearlescent green, pink and turquise interspersed with irregular black tiger stripes - simply stunning !
